According to the local legend, the temple spontaneously evolved from a primordial lake about 2,000 years ago whereas the inscriptions suggest that it was built by King Manadeva in 460 AD. Patan Durbar Square is situated at the center of Lalitpur. It is one of the three Durbar
Square in Kathmandu Valley and all of them are the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. One
of its attractions is the ancient royal palace where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur resided. The
Durbar Square is best known for  Newar Culture and architecture. The square floor is
tiled with red bricks. There are many temples and statues in the area. The Patan Palace
Museum, Golden Temple, and Krishna Temple are the best-known attractions of
Durbar Square.

Gupteshwar Cave is a famous pilgrimage site in Pokhara. The cave features statues
and portraits of Hindu gods and goddesses. The statue of Lord Shiva believed to be
made of stalagmites, is the main attraction of the cave. The quaint atmosphere of the
cave is an ideal place to soothe your senses, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Devi’s Fall is a prominent attraction of Pokhara. Also known as the Patalo Chnago, it
cascades into a mysterious underground tunnel beneath it. According to a legend the
falls were discovered when a trekker named Devi was swimming and got pulled into an
underground tunnel. Tourists visit this unique waterfall to witness the cascading waterfall
as it vanishes into the tunnel. Car itineraries usually do not include an extended stop
here, therefore keep a lookout while you pass by this attraction

International Mountain Museum: It was established to maintain
systematic records of the successful eight-thousanders, geographic flora and fauna, and
human activities in the range. The shape of the museum roof itself resembles the mountain
skyline to any visitor before entering the museum’s main gate. This acts as a major
learning place for adventure enthusiasts about mountains and the Himalayas.

The Bindhyabasini Temple is an ancient temple that was founded in the 17th century.
The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati and is visited by Hindus and Buddhists
