Pattaya is on the East coast of the Gulf of Thailand. It is about 150 kilometres Southeast of Bangkok. It is a self-governing municipal area, which covers the total area of 53.4 km2. Pattaya has a tropical wet and dry climate. It was once the fishing town, but, it has now turned into one of the happening tourist destinations of Thailand.
